Bella the Childfree Dog

My friend sent me the link to a fascinating website for a group called The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement (VHEM). What an amazing concept for us childfree adults to embrace the idea that we are contributing to a movement to save the earth. Imagine what would happen if more adults were willing to say, “I’ll make the sacrifice”, and voluntarily not become parents in order to protect our dying earth. I believe that a likely outcome would be that folks would actually discover that not being a parent is pretty cool as a lifestyle choice for so many reasons. In essence, not having kids would end up not being a sacrifice at all.
